Standard rectangular top manhole covers are manufactured in 6 standard grades, in carrying capacities from 2.5 tonnes to 38 tonnes gross plated vehicle weight,
and forklift grade to special order. Each grade is available in a range of clear opening sizes and special covers for heavy duty applications are available to oeder.
Used for manholes and inspection chambers on drains and sewers they are suitable for use internally and externally.
Covers are made from pressed steel incorporating a non slip surface and dished lifting holes. Frames are made from cold rolled mild steel section, mitred and welded at the corners.
The covers are finished by hot dipped galvanising.
